The John H. Pierce House

An architectural gem

Built in 1900 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce House was originally owned by John Pierce, who bequeathed the mansion to the town of Lincoln in 1910. Set within Lincoln's historic district, the property has spent more than a century as a gathering place, welcoming community members and guests year-round.

Meet Our Director

Jennifer Westlund, Director of the Pierce House, brings over 15 years of event management expertise to the role, along with experience in floral design, photography, and bartending. Known for her natural warmth and genuine ability to connect with clients, Jenn brings a deep dedication to making every wedding and event as special and meaningful as possible. She loves meeting new clients and partners closely with each one to ensure their event is a dream come true.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Pierce House is at 17 Weston Road in Lincoln, Massachusetts, less than 30 minutes west of Boston.

  • The Pierce House hosts weddings, corporate meetings and outings, and social and celebratory events, along with art shows, car shows, summer concerts, and even film shoots. The venue hosts one event per day, so your event has the full property to itself.

  • The tent accommodates up to 200 guests. Inside the house, the four main rooms hold up to 75 guests, which works well for a cocktail hour, a smaller seated dinner, or an indoor reception in cooler months.

  • We host one event per day. Every event rental receives private access to the entire estate on their event date.

  • Payments can be made online by electronic check or credit card through City Hall Systems, a secure payment platform used by municipalities. There's a $0.50 fee for electronic check payments and a 3% processing fee for credit card payments.

  • Yes. Members of the community are welcome to visit the conservation land and walking trails on the property, however, when we are hosting an event the property is closed to the public.
